Procurement
- Operational Services Division’s Environmentally Preferable Products (EPP) Purchasing Program. Contact the EPP Program for questions regarding the selection of environmentally preferable computers for your office.
- Statewide Contract ITC16A for the purchase of IT Hardware. On Comm-PASS, search for a Contract with Document Number ITC16A. Ask contractors for EPEAT-registered equipment.
End of Life Management
- Operational Services Division’s Surplus Property Program. Any property that exceeds the needs of a department shall be declared surplus property by that department. Contact the Surplus Property Program for disposal information.
- State Contract #FAC53: Hazardous, Mercury and Electronic Waste Recycling & Disposal, July 2009, provides vendors for end-of-life management. This contract is open to all Massachusetts cities, towns, state agencies, and political subdivisions. The categories most likely to be used by municipalities have been posted. Category 7 addresses Electronic Waste Collection & Recycling.
