In its fifth year-2012, the SEC program reached a milestone of 100 Partners in 36 states! Partners employed almost 150,000 people.
The table below summarizes the environmental results of Partners’ efforts to “green” the lifecycle of their computer equipment; from purchasing EPEAT® (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) registered products to lowering the energy consumption of computers in use, extending the lifetime of equipment, and responsibly recycling equipment at the end of its service life. Partner Recognition
In 2012, the SEC nine Partners for their outstanding work in electronics stewardship by completing SEC program requirements. SEC Partners were eligible for one of three recognition levels – Bronze, Silver, or Gold - based on completion of SEC program requirements.
